Culture Night – 2011

Drop in to the temporary studio of artist and Nexus Arts coordinator Declan Kelly

Nexus Arts is an artist-led not for profit organisation that aspires to promote
and exhibit the work of both emerging and established visual artists. It
aims to promote Drogheda as a centre for visual arts, and hopes to add to
the development of Drogheda’s regeneration especially in the visual arts.

Declan Kelly will be taking his studio to Highlanes Gallery on Culture Night
where he will demonstrate a range of processes that he is currently using in
his practise, from sketching to painting. Kelly’s work is concerned primarily
with our connection to the world and how other worlds exist around us,
investigating realities that lie beneath and behind the surface of ours.
